Crossing description and focal points:

Frisco Avenue is a two-lane road with sidewalks to the west. To the north is a low water crossing at Scull Creek that regularly floods during heavy rain.

Although there is lighting along the Razorback Greenway trail near the crossing, it does not light up the crossing itself. Many bicyclists and pedestrians cross here due to the nearby trail within the AMRR right-of-way, and drivers often yield to them despite stop signs. Trespassing on the tracks is common, and a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train north of this crossing on August 14, 2024.

The Razorback Greenway trail is close to the crossing, sometimes resulting in driver or bicyclist confusion as to who has the right of way. Numerous vehicles, mostly belonging to University of Arkansas students, are parked close to the crossing, potentially affecting the line of sight for drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
