Crossing description and focal points:

Dickson Street is a two-lane road with sidewalks. The crossing sees significant pedestrian traffic due to the nearby Razorback Greenway trail, University of Arkansas campus, and popular entertainment district.

The existing sidewalk gates do not fully prevent pedestrians from bypassing them when activated. Although this is the only crossing in the study with active warning devices, safety could be improved by installing quad gates to prevent drivers from circumventing the existing gates when activated.
